Established in 1995, the Department of Chemistry comprises of highly competent faculty member who is engaged in different academic activities. The Department is catering to the need of more than 250 students at UG level. The Department has one well established laboratory, equipped with modern technologies of analysis for undergraduate students. To highlight the importance of the subject of Chemistry among young students, the department has started organizing different programmes at entry level.

Maths has immense scope for a variety of fields of study and professions. A strong background in Maths is required for areas as diverse as Engineering, Information Technology, Physical Sciences, Statistics, Astronomy, Economics, Banking and Accounting, Insurance, MBA, MCA among others. This page is designed to give you an introduction to our Under Graduate Program, Syllabus, faculty and other activities of Physics department. Physics Department of Govt Degree College Indora was started in the year 2009 with the introduction of B.Sc. courses. Housed in a spacious building of Govt Degree College Indora it has two well equipped laboratories ( for UG  Classes) along with one computational laboratory having internet facility and one dark room. The department has one smart lecture theater for undergraduate students. During an academic year, it caters to the academic needs of around 250 students specializing in Physics at UG level.The department has produced a large number of Graduate  students since its establishment and these students have excelled in different fields and made the institution proud.

 Physics Laboratory

All of the laws of physics are expressions of experimentally observed regularities in nature. In the laboratory you will have an opportunity to observe and discover those regularities directly. Laboratory work is a very important part of a course in General Physics. It reinforces the student’s understanding of fundamental concepts and principles while, at the same time, helping the student to develop skill in carrying out scientific measurements. For these reasons, the successful completion of the laboratory component will be required of every student. Physics lab at Govt Degree College Indora is well equipped to nurture and facilitate effective learning. It is equipped with state-of-the art equipment’s for demonstration experiments for all areas of physics related directly to mechanics, solid state, electronics, thermodynamics, optics and computational physics.

The Department of Zoology is a constituent entity of the Faculty of Science. It has been the foremost center for learning in all aspects of Animal Sciences. Teaching efforts in the department was tailored to train students leading them to a B.Sc. degree. The present premises of the department is situated in the building of Govt Degree College Indora.
